The make and model of the chip however was not specified. Today we have some confirmation that the Galaxy S4 will probably feature an Exynos Quad Core processor.

This comes from a PDF file from South Korean financial services company named Mirae Asset Group. The file shows various Samsung smartphones which were previously released, and also the Galaxy S4. The file states that the Galaxy S4 will have a 1920 x1080 display with the screen size of 5 inches.  This was confirmed in countless rumors previously, also we are 100% sure that the smartphone will have this resolution and size. According to the file, Galaxy S4 will also have a Exynos 5440 Quad Core processor. Those of you who were expecting a Exynos Octa core processor in the latest flagship from Samsung, will be disappointed. But history has told has that higher number of cores doesn’t necessarily means better performance.

The Exynos 5440 quad core processor will be based on the latest Cortex A15 technology, which will be a substantial leap from the old Cortex A9 architecture. A powerful quad core processor which is also very battery efficient is much better than a new technology which may have unpredictable results. 2 GB or RAM is also listed on the file hailing from South Korea.
