Sony is definitely looking forward to a grand comeback into the smartphone world. The determined company has definitely chosen the right device to lead the attack, The Sony Xperia Z. While other companies are in the mist of announcing or even revealing their flagship devices, Sony has already launched a preemptive strike. HTC M7/HTC One is probably days away from being launched and Samsung is also preparing a rumored event for Galaxy S4’s initiation. Sony on the other hand is already gaining fan appreciation as well as building hype for its upcoming Sony Xperia Z.
The Sony Xperia Z stole the CES show, as far as we are concerned. The smartphone and its sibling, Xperia ZL were among the most exciting devices being shown at the tech show. They both featured a quad core Snapdragon processor, 2 GB of RAM and a stellar Bravia engine powered 5 inch full HD screen. Also the devices supported a 13 megapixel camera with new Exmor sensor. The only major difference between those two was that the Sony Xperia Z is dust and water proof while the Sony Xperia ZL will probably die if you take it to the shower. So what if you wanted to check out the grunt of the new camera fitted in the Sony Xperia Z? Well thanks to a YouTube user “Marco kao†we now have an intimate idea of what the camera is capable of.
The guy somehow got his hands on the Sony Xperia Z and started going crazy with the camera’s continuous shot mode. How crazy you may ask, well he took around a 1000 pictures in a minute. The only beef we have with this guy is that why take 1000 pictures of an inanimate object. That is one opportunity lost right there. But it is still great to know that Sony is moving the tech forward. Like always Sony had the best smartphone cameras in the market. Now we will wait and see what HTC and Samsung can cook up.
